Hi, my name is Ben Elliott. I'm an Architectural Designer and Amateur Photographer/Artist; originally from Portchester, near Portsmouth, Hampshire, UK.
This website exists as a space in which I can explore different ideas using photography and digital artwork outside of my day job in architectural practice.
I took Fine Art at A level, but instead of going to art school I took a more technical/architectural route; first gaining a Degree and then a Diploma in Architecture in 2009. Since then, I have been working as an Architectural Designer on small and some not so small projects in Hampshire and in London.
I began to take photographs on a more regular basis, after seeing the Harry Callahan retrospective at the Tate Modern in 2014. I hope this website touches on the initial inspiration I felt that day.
